Course Description CSM: This two-day ScrumMaster certification course provides everything you need to begin leading or participating in a Scrum team. On completion, participants are granted a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, (www.scrumalliance.org) a valuable resource for Scrum information, and following the successful completion of a brief online examination, are registered as Certified ScrumMasters (CSMs).

Course Description CSPO: CSPO will cover the role of the Product Owner and Scrum theory and practices, the course also includes coverage of the following topics: release planning and estimation in Scrum; managing Scrum projects to successful and on-time delivery; being successful with multi-location (distributed) development using Scrum; creating Agile requirements with User Stories; and strategies for successful introduction of Scrum into your organization.

 

Trainer: Sanjiv Augustine

He is the author of several publications including Transitioning to Agile Project Management: A Roadmap for the Perplexed, The Lean-Agile PMO: Using Lean Thinking to Accelerate Agile Project Delivery and the book Managing Agile Projects (Prentice Hall 2005); and the founder and moderator of the Yahoo! Agile Project Management discussion group. Sanjiv is also a founder and advisory board member of the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN), and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) ’s Agile Community of Practice.

 

Trainer: Pete Deemer

Pete Deemer is one of about 100 Certified Scrum Trainers worldwide, and he specializes in working with development teams throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. He received his CSM training and CST sponsorship from Ken Schwaber, who created Scrum with Dr. Jeff Sutherland. Along with Dr. Sutherland, Pete is one of the founders of The Scrum Foundation. Pete is the co-author of The Scrum Primer, one of the most widely read introductions to Scrum, and lead author of The Distributed Scrum Primer, a new guide to distributed and multilocation Scrum. Pete has spent the last 22 years leading teams building products and services at global companies. Pete was the senior executive who led Yahoo!'s successful large-scale corporate adoption of Scrum, which grew to more than 2,000 employees worldwide. During his Yahoo! tenure, he served as Vice President of Product Development for Yahoo! in the US, as well as Chief Product Officer of Yahoo!'s 1500-person Research and Development center in Bangalore, India.

* Cancellation Policy

The customer/participants must notify Xebia  in writing if they wish to cancel their participation in  training course.

  • The training fee will be refunded in full if the customer/participant provides written notice of the cancellation at least 21 days before the start of the training course.
  • 75% of the training fee will be refunded if the customer/participant  provides written notice of the cancellation at least 14 days before the start of the training course.
  • 50% of the training fee will be refunded if the customer/participant  provides written notice of the cancellation at least 7 days before the start of the training course.
  • No refund will be given if the customer/participant cancels less than 7 days before the start of the training course.

Xebia reserves the right to cancel its training courses for any reason. In this unlikely event, participants will be notified at the earliest opportunity and will receive a full refund of course fees paid. The Organization will make all reasonable efforts to prevent courses from being cancelled but reserve the right to cancel, postpone or alter training courses at any time for reasons outside their control, including (but not limited to) illness, natural disasters, accidents, strikes, acts of terrorism, hostilities etc.

Any course fees paid will be refunded but Xebia cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by the training participant due to a training course being cancelled.

Substitution policy

A registered training participant may be substituted by another participant without any additional costs. This substitution is possible up to one day before training course commencement.
