“Skibia” is an offsite trip of three days and four nights. Every year Xebia India emerges out with a new destination for its employees to have fun with no work. A panel of four to five people is made every year who apart from their regular job are assigned to explore new places for this trip. The panel selects a place based on some factors like pleasant environment, excellent hotels and resorts to stay with good service, great food and group activities. All possible adventures are brought during this trip. Xebians look forward for this wonderful trip to have lots and lots of fun and enjoyable moments.
November 2009 was the third year for this trip. We had been to Port Blair and could enjoy lots of activities like Snorkelling, Jet Ski, Trekking, Beach Volleyball, and of course a visit to Cellular Jail. Year 2008 took us to Rishikesh where we enjoyed river rafting, rappelling, camp fire, sightseeing, DJ and lot more. In year 2007 we went Ladakh, which was again a great experience with lots of snow.

Xebia Family Day is a bi-yearly event. It is being organized twice a year where all the families get together to share their happiness and memorable moments. The motive behind this event is to know the family members and also make them a part of the company’s culture and values.
It is a daylong event where employees and their families participate together in different activities like Tambola, Tug of War, Dum Sharads, Cricket, Tennis, DJ to name a few. The agenda of this event is a combination of welcome drink and snacks, activities, lunch and evening snacks. Activities for family day are usually matched keeping all the generations in mind. Where adults find themselves busy with outdoor activities, kids are privileged with horse riding, camel riding, painting competitions, musical chair, puppet show, tattooing etc.
Xebia encourages these events as it brings involvement and connection among the employees and their families.

Every year, Xebia organizes a challenging outdoor experience where fun and team building go hand in hand! The idea is to enhance team building and coordination on physical and mental level. The event includes different sports and team activities. All fellow Xebians jump to participate in every mud events to make it a big success.
The beginning of the year 2010, Mud Event got inaugurated with Cricket match. Where team Agile-11 v/s Eleven-Ten-dulakars soiled each other with full vigor on cricket ground. The team Captains Amit Sharma and Rocky Jaiswal coined the result on 20-Mar-2010. People got charged and showed their spark on playground not only with cricket but also with sports like volley ball, Badminton, Tennis etc. as per their interests in adjacent grounds.
In year 2008 Xebians went to Damdama Lake Near Gurgaon (Botanical Garden) and got chance to try out some very exiting activities like Rock climbing, Valley crossing, Tarzan swing, Spider's web, Burma bridge, Barrel crossing, Zigzag bars, Trampoline, Flying trapeze, Air rifle shooting, Hanging bars, Treasure hunt treks and some just relaxed on the hammocks under the trees with beer or Tea/ coffee.

In June 2009, Xebia launched an exciting program of Happy Hours with the motivation to know and understand fellow associates much better. Happy Hours are organized on the 3rd Friday of every month in pubs of reputed hotels where Xebians are served with free unlimited drinks and snacks between 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. We make sure that we choose a pub which is close in location and healthy in atmosphere.
It is an unwinding and networking platform for the Xebians. We make sure that the Office closes at 6:00 PM on the Happy Hours day so that everyone can enjoy the after office hours fun activity.
