Xebia’s core values are the bedrock of our culture. Xebia’s core values are the essence of our philosophy for making Xebia a great place to work. Xebians are dedicated to achieving market leadership by living our values. Our four core values are:
In 2001, Daan Teunissen and a group of senior Java specialists. had the passion of improving the quality of Java software development through audits, QA and architecture assignments. With that Xebia was born in the Netherlands in 2001. After repetitive demands from the customers, a specialized Java software development center was also added in 2004. From the beginning, we made some clear choices: lightweight technologies and Agile-Scrum as a methodology.
In 2004, Anurag Shrivastava started the Xebia India development center & Luc Legardeur founded Xebia France currently employing approx. 100 employees in each of the countries.
In 2009, Coert Baart established XebiaLabs with a vision to help organizations solve their application release challenges with Deployit. 2013 has been an important year for us as Rob Dielemans established a specialized company for big data & real time analytics, called as GoDataDriven. In the same year, Xebia also witnessed the establishment of Xebia USA Inc with a vision to expand our wings in the US market.
Xebia sponsors Net4Kids. Net4Kids works with the local organization SAVE and runs programmes in India to eradicate child labour practices and is committed to children's rights by operating educational centres, which are known as bridge schools.
SAVE operates 10 centres at which they serve 300 children between the ages of 8 to 14. The children are provided with a lunch and education materials, and their personal development receives a great deal of attention. The underlying objective is to motivate them to continue their education so that they will not revert to their old way of life as child labourer.
